Frequently asked questions
Does the app save the whole match on my phone?
No. FutsalCam uses a continuous filming buffer that is not stored. It only saves a clip with the last 15 seconds each time you press a save button. At the end of the match you only have the clips you chose to keep, without hours of unnecessary video.
Does it take up a lot of phone storage?
No. With a regular camera app you can end up with more than 1 GB across dozens of clips, then review them one by one to decide what to keep and delete. FutsalCam does not fill your phone with failed recordings: it only saves the 15 seconds of each play you mark, so you free up space and keep only what matters.
How long is each saved clip?
Each clip is 15 seconds long. When you press save, the app automatically trims the previous 15 seconds. Enough to capture the goal or the full play.
Do I need internet during the match to use FutsalCam?
No. FutsalCam works completely offline. You only need a connection to share clips after the match through WhatsApp, Instagram, or other apps.
Does it work for futsal, indoor soccer, or 5-a-side football?
Yes. FutsalCam is made for futsal, also known in some places as indoor football or indoor soccer. 5-a-side football is a different format, but the app works just as well for capturing goals and plays in any of them.
Can I use it for sports other than futsal?
Yes. Although FutsalCam is designed around futsal, it works for any sport where you want to capture specific moments: basketball, handball, football, or volleyball.
What are goal, save, and other tags for?
They help you find clips quickly after the match. If you tag each moment when it happens, you can later filter by type to review every goal or every save without searching one by one.
